This bill permits individuals covered under the State temporary disability insurance TDI and family leave insurance FLI programs, under circumstances in which the individual knows in advance when the period of a FLI or TDI leave will commence, to notify the employer of the anticipated period of leave and to e3335 to the division for benefits for that leave prior to, but not more than 60 days prior to, the date that the leave will commence.
